Brief Bio
Dr. Höllwarth has worked as a corporate consultant specialized in IT projects for over 20 years. In addition to his work at the Vienna University of Economics and Business he also founded the companies Höllwarth Consulting, ICT Advisory Network and Sourcing International. Dr. Tobias Höllwarth was a founding member of EuroCloud Austria where he is today a member of the Board and is the director for the international StarAudit program and president of EuroCloud Europe. He acts as an expert for questions pertaining to certification at the Austrian Standards Institute and is leader of the Austrian delegation that participates in negotiations with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) where cloud computing is concerned.

Dr Tamas Kiss, University of Westminster, London. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is essential for the digitalization of the manufacturing sector. However, less than 25% of manufacturing companies in Europe profit from ICT-enabled solutions. In order to boost the competitiveness of European manufacturers (especially Small and Medium-sized Enterprises - SMEs), innovative solutions need to consider technological and commercial scalability from the beginning. From this perspective, cloudification of services has become the ideal enabler in manufacturing digitalization. Successful European initiatives have already demonstrated the benefits of cloudifying engineering services, by combining High Performance Computing (HPC) resources, computational tools, and cloud computing platforms.

The 41^st International ICT Convention MIPRO 2018 is traditionally dedicated to information and communication technology, electronics, microelectronics, renewable energy sources, ecology along with a new and high technologies in general. We are convinced that MIPRO 2018 will attract more than a thousand participants from commerce, science, education, state and local administration, government and local self-government from Croatia and abroad.

You are invited to submit your scientific, professional and reviewed papers for one of our conferences. It can be an opportunity to present results of your research and professional work. Scientific interns and students attending graduate study programs are invited and encouraged to submit their papers. The presentations may contain results of scientific research, development of new products and services including results obtained in doctoral and masters’ theses. We also welcome papers with descriptions of technical, software, hardware and other solutions as well as papers which show the use of nanotechnology, ecology and renewable energy sources.
