Future of Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Marketing
The new workshop at MIPRO 2019
As part of the 42nd International ICT convention MIPRO 2019, several workshops will take place. One of them is the workshop „Future of Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Marketing“ which will be held and chaired by prof. Luiz Moutinho.
This workshop deals with faster and faster advances in technologies - especially with the developments in the field of artificial intelligence - which bring numerous of changes in global innovation economy and benefits for society, but sometimes may cause new risks. MIPRO 2019 - Notification for authors whose paper is still under review
A process of paper reviewing is still in progress. Regarding the fact that all the deadlines were prolonged (abstract submission, full paper submission), some papers are still under review. Authors are kindly asked to have patience. The reviewers are doing their best to process the papers and authors will be informed about the final decision at their earliest convenience.

How Green is Your Software?
MIPRO 2019 – Professor Csaba Szabó’s invited lecture
Professor Csaba Szabó from the Department of Computers and Informatics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (FEEaI) at Technical University of Kosice will give the invited talk about one specific part of green software engineering within the Software and Systems Engineering Conference at MIPRO 2019.

The Present and Future of Open Science in Europe
MIPRO 2019 - Keynote lecture by Dr. Gergely Sipos
Dr. Gergely Sipos will hold a lecture on “The Present and Future of Open Science in Europe” at MIPRO 2019. This lecture, which represents the EOSC-Hub project, will show achievements and expected results.
EOSC-hub is a 33 million Euro H2020 project that started in January 2018 with the involvement of over 100 institutes. In three years the project will establish the first elements of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). It is an infrastructure which aims to accelerate and support the current transition to more effective Open Science and Open Innovation in the Digital Single Market in Europe. [more]

Dr. Rebecca Christianson from Olin College of Engineering, Needham, USA, will hold an interesting workshop on „How to Teach Mathematics in the Engineering Context“ at the 42nd International Conference of MIPRO 2019, organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing from Zagreb and MIPRO. This keynote speaker is partially supported by the IEEE Education Society Distinguished Lecturer Program.
Dr. Rebecca Christianson is an Associate Professor of Applied Physics at Olin College of Engineering. Olin College is a young, undergraduate only engineering college with a focus on hands on, project-based learning. Prof. Christianson has taught there for fifteen years with a specialty in interdisciplinary classes which integrate mathematics, physics and engineering. [more]

MIPRO 2019 - Invited lecture at the DC conference
Professor Maria Lindén will give the invited talk about eHealth within the Distributed Computing in Data Science and Biomedical Engineering Conference at MIPRO 2019.

Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity at MIPRO 2019
Paul Timmers, a visiting research fellow for cybersecurity policy and digital transformation at the University of Oxford, will take part at the 42nd International ICT Convention MIPRO 2019 by holding a keynote speech „Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity: Technology and Policy Perspectives“ within the plenary session on Wednesday, 22 May.

MIPRO 2019 preparations
Preparations for the 42nd International ICT Convention MIPRO 2019 are underway. There are only several months left over before the start of the convention.
MIPRO 2019 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE and EAI. As usual, MIPRO invites authors to submit their papers for one of the 12 traditional conferences. Besides them, this year's novelty are 2 new international conferences - Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Cities and Infrastructures /SSRCI and COnference on COmposability, COmprehensibility and COrrectness of Working Software /4COWS. Submit Your Paper and/or Event for the 42nd International ICT Convention MIPRO 2019!

The 42nd International ICT Convention MIPRO 2019 is traditionally dedicated to information and communication technology, electronics, microelectronics, renewable energy sources, ecology along with new and high technologies in general. We are convinced that MIPRO 2019 will attract more than thousand participants from commerce, science, education, state and local administration, government and local self-government from Croatia and abroad.
You are invited to submit your scientific, professional and review papers for one of our conferences. It can be an opportunity to present results of your research and professional work. Scientific interns and students attending graduate study programs are invited and encouraged to submit their papers. The presentations may contain results of scientific research, development of new products and services including results obtained in doctoral and masters’ theses. We also welcome papers with descriptions of technical, software, hardware and other solutions as well as papers which show the use of nanotechnology, ecology and renewable energy sources. Besides, there are also expected papers of experts in the field of education and education technologies. We invite chairs of European and other projects on science, research, information, technology to present their achievements and experiences. Furthermore, we would like to point out the papers which reflect on programs as a result of European cooperation. MIPRO 2019 is a technological convention opened to all of those who seek for a technological change.
Apart from the conferences there are organized seminars of lifelong learning, round tables, panels, debates, workshops and a traditional exhibition of ICT, electronic and microelectronic products, services and technical solutions. Producers of such equipment, products and services are invited to present themselves and their products.

Welcome to the biggest ICT convention in the region - MIPRO 2018

MIPRO is based on the foundations of science, technology, and economy. It was established to strengthen the economy by encouraging the development of latest technology. The strategic action plan has both scientific and economic goals. We are living in a challenging period, with constant growth of technical civilization. MIPRO has introduced ICT into globalization, personalization, and regionalism. ICT goal is to have a modern and adaptable which meets world market demands and national interests in the moment of these challenging transformations. This will be achieved by the organization of several international seminars and strategically programmed segments (thematic day, panels, tutorials, forums, and exhibitions) under the slogan "MIPRO 2018 – innovative promotional partnership".
The core event will be the Business Day, linked to several other panels. The purpose of panels is to shape clear visions and provide indispensable strategic guidelines and modifications. We hope to rapidly improve the quality of production, service and market opportunities in the ICT domain. The aim of this program is to professionally contribute to the establishment of the National Strategy 2030 and development guidelines.
