As part of the OPEL – Optoelectronics, Photonics, Quantum Optics & Optical Computing, a series of invited lectures will be delivered by distinguished researchers and industry experts. The lectures will address cutting-edge developments in photonics, quantum technologies, optomechanics, and advanced optical systems.
 

On 25 February (9:00 – 13:00), the Institute Ruđer Bošković will host an expert discussion titled “Humanoid Robotics in Croatia – Shaping the Future of Human–Robot Collaboration”, dedicated to the development and application of humanoid robotics in Croatia and Europe.

Davor Runje is the Vice President for Agentic Systems at Synthpop AI, a U.S.-based software company specializing in healthcare process automation, and he will deliver an invited lecture on the topic of communicating AI-based agentic systems as part of the AIS conference.
 

AI agents are increasingly pervasive. While they are built on large language models, they often appear more capable than anysingle model alone. We argue that a primary reason for this effect is effective inter-agent communication.

MIPRO – Croatian Society for Information, Communication and Electronic Technology and CroAI – the Croatian Artificial Intelligence Association have signed a Cooperation Agreement with the aim of strengthening national and international activities in the field of artificial intelligence, advanced digital technologies, and their application in the economy and society.

MIn 2023, MIPRO introduced its annual MIPRO ICT award. The award is given for significant contributions to the development of ICT in science, technology, or the economy.

The call is open until March 15^th, 2026, and proposals are to be submitted in electronic form to the address mipro-natjecaj@mipro.hr.

This year's 375 scientific and professional papers that have met IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements have been published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

We congratulate all the authors for their success in the hope of further successful cooperation.

Another MIPRO was successfully held. At this year's convention, the 48th in a row, more than 60% of authors, and a large number of participants in other program contents were physically present.
 
This year's MIPRO was very successful with 407 accepted papers from 1070 authors from 46 countries of the world (6 continents). This is the second-highest number of papers, despite the increased level of review criteria.
