Title: Online Teaching:Challenge,Technique and Opportunity

Abstract: In the midst of the global pandemic, potential of digital technology is yet to be harnessed completely in the fight against COVID-19. Many of teachers are quiet unaware about the proper methodology to impart online education effectively and efficiently though the techniques to overcome these obstacles are easy to imbibe. Students staying at home during coronavirus outbreak are encouraged to utilize this time productively by engaging in online learning. This presentation on “Online Teaching: Challenge, Technique and Opportunity” focuses on various aspects of ICT and Digital Technology that can be opted for effective learning  during  COVID-19 Pandemics and recovery which also contains various ICT tools prevalent in India.

 

Biographies:

Tanuja Satish Dhope (Shendkar) acquired her Ph.D in wireless communication at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia in 2012. Her research focus is on cognitive radio network optimization with spectrum sensing algorithms, radio channel modelling for cognitive radio, wireless sensor network, cooperative spectrum sensing, Direction of arrival (DoA), estimation algorithms in cognitive radio & in SDMA, environmental monitoring. She has published more than 50 scientific papers in journals and conference proceedings. She has received various grants. She is an organizer of many workshops, symposia. Her academic profile is characterized by high degree of International activity. Currently she’s involved in academic collaborations with international universities in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.

 

Dr. Dina Šimunić is a full professor at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Croatia. She is an IEEE Senior Member, and acts as a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques and on Biomedical Engineering and Bioelectromagnetics, journal JOSE and as a reviewer of many papers on various scientific conferences. She is an organizer of many workshops, symposia and round tables, as well as of special sessions. She has held numerous invited lectures. She is author or co-author of more than 100 publications in various journals and books. Her research work comprises electromagnetic fields dosimetry, wireless communications theory and its various applications. Dr. Šimunić serves as Chair of the “Standards in Telecommunications” at Croatian Standardization Institute and also as a member of the core group of Erasmus Mundus “Mobility for Life”.

    The Pantheon AI Data Center project represents one of the largest investments in the history of Croatia and the wider region. It is a planned large-scale AI and hyperscale data center in Topusko, valued at more than €50 billion, and is expected to position Croatia as a key European hub for digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence. 

    The Pantheon project—combining artificial intelligence, energy infrastructure, and strategic autonomy—opens the door for the development of a comprehensive AI industry ecosystem across the region.

    At the Economic AI and HPC Forum, the Pantheon hyperscale Tier IV AI data center will be presented as a flagship initiative symbolizing a new phase of Europe’s digital transformation in shaping the AI ecosystem.
