Full-paper submission deadline for MIPRO 2026 has been extended

Despite the fact that MIPRO is striving for fixed deadlines and due to the large number of requests for deadline extension, full-paper submission has been extended by 2 weeks. The new deadline is Monday16 February 2026. Keep in mind to submit the full-paper by that date.

Thanks to all of those who have already submitted their full-papers. 


To ensure greater efficiency, avoid delays and facilitate a timely review, please respect the deadlines.

Davor Runje - invited lecturer at the AIS conference

Davor Runje is the Vice President for Agentic Systems at Synthpop AI, a U.S.-based software company specializing in healthcare process automation, and he will deliver an invited lecture on the topic of communicating AI-based agentic systems as part of the AIS conference.
 



 

AI agents are increasingly pervasive. While they are built on large language models, they often appear more capable than anysingle model alone. We argue that a primary reason for this effect is effective inter-agent communication.

An institutional collaboration has been established between the "Nikola Tesla" Memorial Center and MIPRO, with the shared goal of jointly promoting the annual award. Dr. Tatjana Kolak, Director of the Lika Museum Gospić, expressed strong support for the initiative and highlighted the importance of this award as a contemporary reminder of Tesla’s spirit of inventiveness and global vision.

Successful participation at the 23rd International Innovation Exhibition ARCA 2025

From October 15 to 18, 2025, the 23rd International Innovation Exhibition ARCA 2025 was held at the National and University Library in Zagreb, bringing together innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, scientists, and students to promote innovation and technological development. MIPRO also participated in the fair, having its own stand where visitors could learn more about the association's activities.

Revolutionary Applications of Attophysics in Medicine and Computing


This year's 48th MIPRO Convention will host one of the most prominent scientists of our time! Prof. Dr. Ferenc Krausz, winner of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics and director at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, is coming to Croatia to give a plenary lecture on revolutionary applications of attophysics in medicine and computing.

Prof. dr. Ferenc Krausz, awarded by the Nobel Prize

 

Prof. Dr. Ferenc Krausz is a physicist who was awarded the Wolf Prize and the Nobel Prize. In 2004, he was appointed Director of the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching, Germany. Since 2004, alongside his role at the Max Planck Institute, he has been the Chair of Experimental Physics – Laser Physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität. Between 2006 and 2009, he co-founded and served as the Founding Director of the Munich-Centre for Advanced Photonics. From 2010 to 2019, he served as the Director of the center, and from 2010 to 2016, he was also a Visiting Professorat Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea. Since 2015, he has been the Founding Director of the Centre for Advanced Laser Applications at LMU Munich. In 2019, he became the Executive Director of the Center for Molecular Fingerprinting.
