Davor Runje - invited lecturer at the AIS conference

Davor Runje is the Vice President for Agentic Systems at Synthpop AI, a U.S.-based software company specializing in healthcare process automation, and he will deliver an invited lecture on the topic of communicating AI-based agentic systems as part of the AIS conference.

AI agents are increasingly pervasive. While they are built on large language models, they often appear more capable than anysingle model alone. We argue that a primary reason for this effect is effective inter-agent communication. This talk surveyscommunication patterns in modern agentic frameworks such as AutoGen and analyzes how they support task decomposition, coordination, and verification to address complex problems. We will discuss representative design choices, illustrative casestudies, and open challenges relevant to deploying communicating multi-agent systems.
