MIPRO Tesla Egg Award Committee made a decision to accept five proposals.

Individuals and institutions are invited to submit proposals for the MIPRO annual award "MIPRO Tesla Egg Award" for the innovative and most influential achievement in ICT in the past period.

The deadline for proposals - Monday, March 4, 2024

A candidate for the award can be a legal entity or an individual, and nominations can be submitted by anyone without restrictions. Also, the prize can be awarded to the same legal entity or individual only once.

Quantum Computing: Making a quantum leap into the future

His lecture will cover the following areas: 

• a brief non-technical introduction to quantum computing and why it is different to classical computing, 
• a discussion of areas where we feel that quantum computing will provide an advantage over classical computing with some examples of use cases, 
• why we think that useful quantum computing is nearer than you think – with illustrations from the IBM roadmap and IBM advances over the past 12 months.

We are happy to announce that, after the extended deadline for abstract submission, 30% more abstracts were received compared to last year.

The collection of papers is underway. Please note that the full-paper submission deadline is Monday, January 29, and we expect your paper as soon as possible.

Please respect the deadlines to ensure greater efficiency, avoid delays and complete a timely review.

Before you prepare the paper carefully read the Instructions for authors. Papers must be prepared by using the MIPRO template.

Papers can be submitted to one of the 18 conferences. 

Abstract submission deadline is 11 December 2023 (kindly note: a month earlier than usual).

The European project "MareNostrum Experimental Exascale Platform - MEEP" coordinated by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) with the main research partners Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb (UNIZG FER) and TÜBİTAK BILGEM from Turkey (TUBITAK) has created a digital laboratory for high performance software and hardware codesign for the development of future European exascale systems.
 

MIPRO 2023 Program is published. It contains all program events and other important information (deadlines, registration fees, accommodation booking etc.). The program can be dowloaded here. 

One part of the program content can be accessed free of charge - plenary part, forums, round tables and exhibition. For other contents of the convention, it is necessary to pay the registration fee.

The World Future Verse (WFV) conference in Bled, organised by the Ljubljana Technology Park in cooperation with MIPRO and other partners as part of the European Blockchain Week 2022 was successfully held.

The conference discussed the most current topics: Metaverse, NFT, Internet 3.0 and Blockchain technologies, which are also technologies for successful business in the future and understanding marketing and new business opportunities.

The World Future Verse Conference brought together more than 400 participants, including executives and creative visionaries from various industries. At one of the round tables, Prof. Karolj Skala presented the DAP project on the application of Blockchain technology for a new way of valorizing and reviewing scientific papers.  Živimo u vrijeme velikih pragmatičnih razvoja i promjena. Osvješćuje se tehnička civilizacija preko ICT-a i drigih tehnologija u smjeru stvaranja uvjeta za održivi razvoj i život na zemlji.

ICT u svim tematskim segmentima je obuhvaćen kroz 15 savjetovanja. Sa posebnim tematskim fokusom smo pokrenuli savjetovanje pod nazivom “Pametna industrija i digitalni ekosustavi /SIDE”. MIPRO je već 45 godina zaredom najveći međunarodni nekomercijalni tehnološki skup u ovom dijelu Europe na kojem sudjeluje preko tisuću sudionika iz četrdesetak zemalja. MIPRO kroz svoje tradicionalne znanstvene i tehnološke ICT skupove sustavno razvija svijest i povezuje dionike o značaju visokih tehnologija u razvoju gospodarstva i društva u cijelosti.
